INTRODUCTION As well as stunning beaches and historic sites, East Lothian boasts some of best natural woodland in the United Kingdom with many British species flourishing amongst the rolling hills and glens of Eastern Scotland.

One of the best, and most diverse, woodland areas is at Tyninghame which is close to the estuary of the River Tyne. This ancient woodland covers a large area and features many different trees, plants and wildlife that provides so many opportunities for photographers of all levels.

This tour will show you some of the best areas to photograph and also provide guidance on how to shoot in different light amongst the trees and foliage.

INFORMATION
Level: Beginner to Advanced
Location: Tyninghame
Access: Easy walking on woodland paths, no heavy climbing involved in this tour.
Equipment: CEquipment: DSLR or CSC Camera + wide angle and telephoto lenses. Neutral Density, ND Graduate and Polariser Filters will be useful. A sturdy tripod is recommended
Schedule: 9am to 6pm
Number: 3 people maximum
Cost: £150 per person £50 deposit to confirm.  Balance payable 5 days before the workshop

WHAT’S INCLUDED?
  • Transport will be provided from Dunbar to the various venues on the tour and then back to Dunbar in the evening.  We do not provide transport to Dunbar for the start of the Tour.
  • A packed lunch will be provided. Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.
  • We can provide a tripod if you don’t want to travel with your own.

WHAT SHOULD GUESTS BRING?
  • Any camera equipment you think you will need.  Remember there is walking involved in the Tours so only bring the equipment you are able to carry with you.  CLICK HERE to download the recommended camera equipment for each Tour or Workshop.
  • Dress for the conditions.  Warm clothes, wet weather clothing (this is Scotland) and walking boots.
